Christine has been an RMT in the Langley area since 2009. After completing her BSc. in Kinesiology at SFU, Christine attended the West Coast College of Massage Therapy and graduated from the 3000 hour RMT program. The following few years found her working with a varied population of clientele, including professional athletes and children.
As her experience grew, Christine’s practice began to expand beyond her original scope of treatment. She began to explore visceral manipulation therapy, which amazed her with its outcomes. It showed her that working at a deep level in the body can be achieved in a gentle way, while still having a profound capacity for change. Since that realization, she has immersed herself in the Barral Institute curriculum. In addition to this training, Christine has also explored the teachings of the Upledger Institute for CranioSacral Therapy, and integrates these techniques into her treatment protocol. Christine believes that the body has the ability to heal itself, and takes it upon herself as a practitioner to remind the body of that, and lead it in the right direction. From there, the body will do the rest of the work.
In wanting to explore a different aspect of health and the body beyond physical treatment, Christine began the Diploma program through the Canadian College of Homeopathy. She is in the 2nd year of this 3 year program & is very much enjoying & being challenged by an entirely different way to look at health, symptoms & the prescription of natural medicines.
